I was looking through some photos I shot in Guatemala in January of 2010 and found a big panorama photograph I took of the shore of Lake Atitlan. It starts from the very outer edge of San Pedro La Laguna and goes all the way to the out edge of Santiago Atitlan. San Pedro La Laguna sits between the Volcano San Pedro and the shore of Lake Atitlan. Both San Pedro La Laguna and Santiago Atitlan are Tzutujil Maya villages.
Lake Atitlan has been declared one of the top destinations for 2011. San Pedro La Laguna is a great place to stay while you are at the lake. San Pedro La Laguna has some great Spanish schools and an assortment of traveler hot spots.
The panoramas of San Pedro will only enlarge to the width of your screen. If you want to see the photos in higher resolution, click the photo to enlarge, then position your mouse over the photo, right click, select “save as” and save the photo to a file on your computer. That will be the full size of the photo, at web resolution.
